Yellow Phone is a commercial where the Gecko gets yet another phone call from a customer as he pushes the telephone in the trash but ends up falling in with it after his tail gets caught with the wires.

(Scene: Dining room - a GEICO Gecko pushing yellow phone while being bothered by ringing)

Gecko: (pushing the phone) Night and day, the calls. Save me this, save me that. I'm a gecko, not GEICO!

(pushes phone off the counter into the trash as it still rings but his tail gets caught by the wires)

Gecko: AAAHHH...!!

(phone falls of the on-hook telephone and stops ringing, landing in the trash with a thud)

Gecko: So stop CALLING me!

(Cut to: GEICO Direct Logo - The GEICO Gecko pushing the GEICO Direct Logo with his arms tangled in yellow phone wire.)

  • The way the gecko's arm gets caught by the phones wires shares the same way his tail get caught in the suction of a tube. At the end, the GEICO Gecko appears to the bottom right and he doesn't press his hands to his hips because they're tied in yellow telephone wire.
  • The tune of the GEICO theme is playing Latin music.
